L’Escale de Jules et Lily… a family story.
OUR story… After travelling and living in countries here and there with exotic flavours, we decided to settle in Burgundy, on the doorstep of Beaune. A stopover for our children “to settle and grow”, a stopover for us “to settle and welcome”.
And so L’Escale de Jules et Lily blossomed. It is a place for a pause, a meeting, for sharing, for making a statement… which may perhaps also become part of YOUR story.

Hedonists, epicureans, wine lovers or seasoned connoisseurs, our establishment invites you to stay in a grand manor house, either in elegant guest rooms or in charming self-catering cottages.
Built in 1925 by one of the former presidents of the renowned French bank BNP, its original owners wanted it to be unique and extravagantly luxurious for its time: marble fireplaces in every room, Hungarian-point oak parquet floors, hand-painted and signed ceilings, figures carved into the walls, a vaulted cellar, lofty ceilings, a monumental oak staircase and a traditional Burgundian roof of glazed tiles…
L’Escale de Jules et Lily, by its very height, towers over all the houses in the village, with the sole exception of the listed Romanesque church beside which it was built.

A romantic weekend, a family or friends’ getaway, or even a business seminar – L’Escale de Jules & Lily offers 3,000 m² dedicated to well-being, escape, romance and, above all, the flavours of Burgundy.
Suites and rooms with terraces, private spa, a bucolic park with a heated salt-water swimming pool, as well as a table d’hôtes (for groups only and corporate seminars), a variety of introductory wine-tasting workshops and a wine shop mainly dedicated to Burgundy wines, or even a wine-by-the-glass menu with nearly a hundred references… these are just some of our secrets that will transport you out of time.
Since 2018, L’Escale de Jules et Lily has received the Tripadvisor Certificate of Excellence, Booking’s Golden Award, and recommendations from Le Petit Futé, the Guide du Routard and Elle Magazine… Since opening our establishment, we have made it our mission to do everything possible to offer you the utmost comfort and to make this place ever more magical…
